Daycare Supplies So The Little Ones Are Safe, Comfortable And Have Fun!

Posted on: February 18th, 2013 by

Everyone around me is getting married and having babies! Ok not everyone. But enough of my friends to start making me feel a wee-bit unaccomplished from just being a late twenty-something with a burgeoning recording studio and record label. I’ve even had dreams of children.  MY children… who aren’t born yet. It’s very very creepy and some would even say ominous. However, it truly is a blessing for those involved. The parents, specifically. They’ll only lose about a year and a half of sleep and after that, it’s like having a dog that talks! At least, that’s what I remember my childhood being like.

All the fun aside, however, there will be inevitable child-proofing to be done when the little children-of-the-corn start walking around… oh boy that’ll be a doozy. I’ll end up with a home full of day care supplies.  After this initial human germination stage, it’s off to day care (I’ve given this much thought, you see) where they’ll have nap time, learning time, lunch time, and if mom and dad are lucky, they can have some special time.

One could say the day care products we sell are passive facilitators in the love-making department for many working parents. Need to keep the rug-rats busy? Off to daycare! At home, lull them to sleep in their very own playroom complete with a puzzle mat, kids rest mats, cool looking bean bag chairs, and all kinds of other safe toys and trinkets that will give our near-lunacy young adults a little rest time for the best part of parenthood; teenagers!

Rest Mats For Thanksgiving…That Will Do The Trick!

Posted on: November 26th, 2012 by

Folding Rest Mat is commonly used as a nap matWell campers, the legendary holiday of the Giving of Thanks (Thanksgiving to the laymen) is now upon us! That means good food, good friends, and the family, with all the fixin’s.  Spending the day in good company and gorging yourself on all you can eat turkey and stuffing.  As we all know, Thanksgiving is the universal day of excess, and with that comes the inevitable “itis”.  Whether you know it by name or not, you all know the feeling.  “Itis” is caused by the chemical tryptophan, which makes you feel oh so sleepy.  Tryptophan is found in high concentrations in…you guessed it! Turkey.  So no matter what you’re up to this Thanksgiving, there will certainly be some much needed napping in your future.  Well, as always we’ve got floor mats for that!

Anyone of our Rest Mats would do the trick nicely.  Now you say, ‘hey aren’t these for kids and day cares?’ Yes they certainly are. I don’t know about you, but I have been missing ‘nap time’ since it went the way of the buffalo after kindergarten.  So call me sentimental, but after more than 2 decades of pining for nap time, I think I have found the perfect way to work that back into my life in some small way…Thanksgiving.

Trust me, you will all thank me for this.  So let the food settle and the “itis” begin.  No need to worry about having enough room for family and friends to lay their heads, just lay down anyone of our Rest Mats and let the much needed snoozing begin!  Our Rest Mats for kids come in all colors and thicknesses to suit any grown child; like myself, and perhaps you.  From our Standard Folding Rest Mat, Supreme Folding Rest Mat, or even our Supreme Pillow Top Rest Mat (my favorite!), we certainly have a mat to suit your holiday nap time needs.

So from all of us here at MatsMatsMats, Happy Thanksgiving and Enjoy!

Bean Bag Chairs

day care and pre-school suppliesChildren love to sit—and sometimes even nap in—bean bag chairs.  Some pre-schools do have bean bag chairs along with children’s play mats, making for yet one more way to keep kids settled and quiet when it’s often [usually] difficult to do so!  Experience shows many such items go a long way in keeping kids occupied and satisfied.

When it’s naptime, you can either opt for mini cots or if you home school, and don’t want to send your kids to their beds for naptime, then a few kids body pillows either thrown on the couch, or on their folding rest mats really helps out when you need for them to settle down and take their naps; body pillows are great because kids—much like adults—like to have something to hug or snuggle when their trying to take a nap.  All of these things will really prove to be big helps for classroom or even play room settings at home.
