Folding Mats That Are Firm, Portable, And Flexible!
Posted on: May 25th, 2012 by Ben GonzalezI recently embarked on a weekend trip to Joshua Tree National Park to enjoy the horizon-to-horizon splendor that only a lightless, soundless, natural landscape on a new-moon night can offer. As an amateur astronomer and cosmophile without a telescope, a cool, quiet, and comfortable spot on the desert floor is paramount to truly appreciate the awe that is the Cosmos despite the constant reminder for most cynics, of course, that less than 1% of the known universe won’t eradicate any sort of life INSTANTLY… but I digress.
Have you ever tried to lay down on uneven, sandy, rocky, high-desert floor? It’s not the most hospitable of terrains for getting comfy. Lucky for me, however, we carry these 2’x6’x2†Folding Mats that are firm, portable, and comfortable enough to lay down on for long periods of time as you seemingly turn and rotate like clockwork. Unlucky for me is that I did not think to get one of these at the time, so all the amazement that would otherwise accompany such an outing was a little more than slightly hindered by discomfort, a little too much sand-in-the-pants, and an owl pellet for an accidental pillow. Lesson learned for next time!
