The New Year is here!! Time for those resolutions! How many of us are going to “lose some weight”?? All of us?  Cool!  MatsMatsMats.com is most definitely the place to look to get your workout room started.  My favorite fitness related products are our interlocking foam mats. My entire house is hardwood so sit ups or push ups and even jumping jacks can be strenuous.  All I really need is a little 4’ by 4’ area which could stack and slip right under my couch, then snap together quick.  These interlocking floor tiles are made of a closed cell foam which means moisture, like sweat (gross), won’t absorb.

Now if you’re really gung ho about working out this year, we have soft rubber mats that are perfect for home gyms. They have a foam base so they are soft enough to protect your back and knees, but the rubber surface makes them durable enough to hold your equipment and give you great footing.

If you’re exercise room also doubles as your garage, and aerobic routines aren’t your focus, our Tuff-n-Easy interlocking rubber flooring might be a better choice.  They are a solid piece of rubber perfect for giving your area a nice look, support your machines AND durable enough to park your car on.  They’re mostly black with colored fleck, so as an added bonus it’ll hide all the junk your car might track in your garage. Even if one of these 28.5” by 28.5” tiles get ruined, you can easily swap it out with a new one.  Try doing that with cement.

I am a geek; yes I said it and certainly whole-heartedly admit it with great pride and gusto!  Since I was just a wee one I have been going to Trade Shows of all kinds.  I used to frequent the Los Angeles Auto Show every year with my father.  From my teenage years and even into my 20’s I attended the Anime Expos in Los Angeles with my friends as well.  Every one of these conventions would have its Trade Show floors, filled with products, samples and the variable eye-candy abound.  If you have ever been to, or participated in a Trade Show of any kind you will know that they magically transform an industrial floor space into an appealing show floor for each company’s products.

If you are one of the thousands of people who are responsible for setting up, cleaning up and/or working at your company’s trade show booth throughout the year then you know the importance of the surface you stand on.  Trade show booth flooring can assist with the look of your booth, add comfort for you and your visitors and hopefully be re-used (because they can be expensive).

The best bet for your money is to purchase one of the many styles of interlocking trade show floor tiles.  These are typically the most affordable and, if cared for properly, you can use over and over again.  Trade show shipping cases can protect your interlocking floor tiles when transporting them to and from tradeshows.  Additionally, these cases can protect the flooring tiles when being stored in between tradeshows.

Playroom flooring or interlocking floor mats can save you a lot of headache and hassle as a parent. Every parent knows what it’s like to have to clean up the messes kids invariably make on the floor; we’re talking spills here, mostly. The worst ones are on carpet! I haven’t been to a lot of expos or trade shows to say I’m an expert on trade show flooring, or even other types of either rolled rubber flooring, or rubber foam interlocking floor tiles like those pictured here, but I have worked and walked on enough of these types of flooring to appreciate their tremendous value.

Usually, when we think of trade show flooring, or even commercial and industrial mats, we picture in our minds glass booths assembled on perhaps carpet top or faux wood finish mats that either assemble in tile form or those that roll out. When I think of installing some of these amazing trade show flooring tiles in my own home, I think of doing so in our family game room, where my son and his buddies and can lift—and sometimes drop—their weights, without damaging our floor, or without making a lot of racket!
