Rubber Mulch Will Help Your Homes True First Impression – Curb Appeal!

Front Door Mat Is Nothing Like Rubber Mulch When It Comes To A First Impression! You know the saying “The grass is always greener on the other side”? Well, that’s probably because it’s fake!

I often find myself driving through my neighborhood and having garden envy. All the other houses have such green manicured lawns and their planters always look so vibrant with color – It’s easy to feel inadequate. I’m not saying my yard looks like an abandoned house or anything; it just doesn’t seem to pop.  I’ve tried all kinds of flowers and plants, but nothing seems to last very long and I’m really sick of empty looking, brown planters.

My solution to all this is our Shredded Rubber Mulch. It looks just like real wood mulch this realistically-textured, eco friendly, shredded mulch groundcover is made from 100% recycled rubber and will not fade, rot, compress, or lose its original beauty, even after years of exposure to the elements. This is the perfect substitute for traditional wood mulch, which must be replenished periodically due to wood decomposition. Rubber mulch, on the other hand, will retain it’s original qualities for many, many years. It is the perfect loose-fill groundcover for residential or commercial landscaping applications. Rated as the safest groundcover on the market, our rubber garden mulch also provides superior drainage and minimizes dust.

My favorite feature, aside from the longevity, is that is comes in different colors. Now, no matter the time of year, I can keep my planters looking green (or blue or red). With the variety of colors you can really add some character to your yard, providing a tailored and elegant look. Curb appeal is very important. More important than your front door mat, it is the true first impression!

Logo Mats Are A Companies First Impression!

Logo Mats Are Only Good If They Are Of Quality!Back in November I told you guys about that logo mat I saw at a car repair shop, when I had just gotten my business cards and was excited to hand them out. Remember? Well if you don’t, I basically gave my card to a guy because his logo mat was falling apart.  He never did call…

Anyway, I was back at that same repair shop just yesterday and guess what? Same dirty mat.  It kind of upsets me. It’s not even the fact that the guy didn’t call ME, it’s more that he doesn’t seem to see the importance in having good looking logo mats.

As a customer when I walk in the door and see the obviously torn indoor carpet mats that look faded it makes be second guess the quality of the business itself.  Granted, they do great work which is why I chose them to fix my car the second time around. Had I been inside that office BEFORE deciding to send my car there, I would have probably walked out. I’m big on appearances and I like things to look clean and like there is some pride behind them. If you don’t care about the appearance of your business, how much can I trust you with my car?

The other thing I should have pointed out to him was without the border on his mat, it’s now a tripping hazard. I only determined this because as I was walking out I kicked up his entrance mats.  Plus, like I pointed out back in November, if a front door mat or any entrance mats are borderless, the water that is supposed to me trapped in the rug will seep out thus causing another hazard.  The picture you see is the actual mat (I scrambled the company name so they don’t get all huffy)

Literally, for the less than price I paid to fix a headlight he could have had a brand new, durable logo mat.

Wipe Your Paws Doormat

Choosing the right front door mat. There are so many different types of door mats being sold today.  So, how do you choose the best one for your needs?

First, you need to determine what size doormat you need.  A front door mat at an apartment or home with a single door is typically anywhere from an 18″x24″ to a 24″x36″ size mat. The next step is to figure out what matters to you most (color, durability, scraping action, theme, etc.).  If you care most about durability and scraping action then you generally want to go with rubber door mats, but if you care more about the look, colors, etc. than you will generally have more luck with carpet topped mats.

However, you can now often get the best of both worlds with colorful, themed, durable rubber door mats designed to bring beauty and functionality to the entry of your home.  The wipe your paws doormat pictured is one example.
