Comfort Chef Kitchen Mat or Gel Mats?

Posted on: June 8th, 2011 by

Comfort Chef Kitchen MatAhhh! Comfort in the kitchen.  If you stand on your feet for long periods of time in your kitchen (or elsewhere) and you don’t have cushioned floor mats to stand on, what are you waiting for?

There are a lot of mats out there, but the most comfortable mats on the market today seem to be gel mats.  The problem with gel mats is that they are not too comfortable for your wallet (they typically cost $100 to $200 or more).  If you want the comfort of a gel mat without the high sticker price try a Comfort Chef Kitchen Mat (typically $40 to $60).

A Comfort Chef Kitchen Mat has an extra soft gel like feel that provides exceptional comfort during long periods of standing. They are made of soft closed cell foam with a molded surface design for traction and wear. They are easy to clean (simply wipe mat with mild soap and water), so they stay looking fresh and new much longer.

Some ideal uses for cushioned floor mats around the home are as kitchen sink mats, a laundry room mat or a utility sink mat.  So, stop being uncomfortable and look into getting cushioned floor mats today.

Sports Team Rugs (NBA Rugs, NFL Area Rugs, NHL Rugs, MLB Rugs)

Posted on: June 2nd, 2011 by

Lakers Area Rug for PlayroomNBA Finals are finally here.  Did your team make it?  If you are a Miami Heat or a Dallas Mavericks fan congratulations on a great season.  If your team didn’t make it to the dance, well, there’s always next year.  Personally, I’m a Lakers fan and my 12 year old son is a Celtics fan (I know, bad parenting).  Anyway, even though both our teams are done for the year that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy watching the NBA Finals.

I went to a local sports bar in Los Angeles to watch game one of the NBA Finals and noticed they had a large area rug with the Lakers logo it.  Even the guys that hated the Lakers thought the idea was cool.  We started talking about how cool NBA area rugs with your favorite teams logo on it would be at home.  One guy was telling us about the game room he had at his house and he would love to get one, but he would prefer a MLB baseball area rug with the Red Sox logo on it.  Another guy wanted to get one for his kids playroom.  He said he needed something to protect the wood floor anyway and this would look cool in a play room.  The best idea, I thought, was to put a basketball rug like this in a man cave.

Whether you would want a Miami Heat Area Rug or one with the Dallas Mavs logo, or even your favorite MLB, NHL, NFL or even college team, the bottom line is… playmats are not just for kids.  Team logo area rugs are ideal for any game room, playroom or a man cave.  Make it clear to whoever walks in the room what team you support!

Recycled rubber flooring is the ideal dog friendly flooring

Dogs need their exercise too!  Recycled rubber flooring rolls are commonly found on the floors throughout health clubs / gyms, but it is also often used to create durable and easy to clean doggy daycare flooring that is safe for your pets.  This dog safe flooring was exactly what a new doggy daycare facility in Ohio purchased from MatsMatsMats.com.  It was easy to install and they were so happy with the end result.  In fact, they were so pleased that MatsMatsMats.com was asked to be a guest on a local morning radio show discussing the grand opening.

So, on May 7, 2011 Alex Miller, A MatsMatsMats.com sales representative, was interviewed during the Saturday morning “A Firm Foundation Show with Rick and Jackie” heard on AM1470. Among other things, he discussed the rubber flooring supplied to Pocos Playhouse (an of-leash daycare environment for dogs in Ohio). The broadcast was done live from Pocos and Alex Miller called into the show and spoke to the hosts for about 25 minutes.

Anti-Fatigue commercial kitchen mats, like the Performa SD, improve employee comfort, minimize slip and falls and increase productivity.  The solid deck interlocking kitchen floor tiles are ideal for bars, service areas, commercial kitchens and industrial areas.

Each rubber tile is 3′x3′ and 5/8″ thick.  There are two styles available – standard black and black with GritTuffâ„¢ top (this is an extremely aggrressive, high traction, carbide grit top surface.).

Yoga Mat or No Yoga Mat? That Is The Question

Posted on: March 21st, 2011 by

There are definitely many benefits when using a yoga mat… and more specifically, having your own yoga mat and not borrowing one from the club, gym, yoga studio or from a friend.  One of the obvious reasons to use a yoga mat, also called a sticky mat, is to reduce the risk of injuring yourself. Yoga mats can prevent injuries that can occur while practicing yoga. The surface can be slippery (bare floors). Especially if you are taking yoga classes where floors are not being cleaned between classes.

Is it better to borrow/rent a yoga mat from a yoga studio or to bring your own yoga mat to your yoga classes?  Purchasing your own yoga mat will limit the exposure to bacteria and germs and you are only exposed to your own germs. You are responsible for your mat and you can clean it any time.  If you are not using a mat you are exposing yourself to others germs and your well-being.  Additionally, mats will definitely cushion the floor and provide support which is needed for improving balance and coordination and provide better overall health.

If you are considering buying a new yoga mat, don’t forget to look at all the yoga mat options that are available (clean pvc yoga mats, rubber yoga mats, cotton yoga mats, thick yoga mats and many other eco friendly yoga mats).

Extra Large Treadmill Mat

Posted on: January 25th, 2011 by

Extra Large Treadmill MatIf you purchase a large treadmill (or a standard size treadmill with a large base), an elliptical, or any other type of large exercise equipment, finding a mat can be difficult.  A standard size treadmill mat or exercise equipment mat is 3’ wide and 6.5’ long… so if you require exercise equipment mats longer or wider they can often cost a fortune (if you can find one).

There is now an affordable solution – an extra larger rubber treadmill mat measuring 4’ wide and 7’6” long.  This durable mat is made of 100% premium recycled rubber, so it’s eco-friendly too.  It’s generally in stock, so you don’t need to wait weeks or longer for a custom mat to be produced (although if you have that time and require a larger treadmill mat or exercise equipment mat, custom size mats can be made for you).

These rubber mats provide resilience, sound absorption, spike resistance and traction. Rubber treadmill mats offer excellent performance, durability, and appearance.  So, whether you need an extra large treadmill mat for home or commercial use, there is now a quality, in stock, eco-friendly solution waiting for you.

Trade Show Shipping Cases For Your Trade Show Flooring

Posted on: January 25th, 2011 by

Trade show shipping cases for your trade show flooringIf you are one of the thousands of people who are responsible for setting up, cleaning up and/or working at your company’s trade show booth throughout the year then you know the importance of the surface you stand on.  Trade show booth flooring can assist with the look of your booth, add comfort for you and your visitors and hopefully be re-used (because they can be expensive).

The best bet for your money is to purchase one of the many styles of interlocking trade show floor tiles.  These are typically the most affordable and, if cared for properly, you can use over and over again.  Trade show shipping cases can protect your interlocking floor tiles when transporting them to and from tradeshows.  Additionally, these cases can protect the flooring tiles when being stored in between tradeshows.

A hard portable trade show shipping case with wheels would allow you to store your trade show flooring, ship the flooring directly to your trade show location(s) and easily transport it to and from your booth if the case comes with a handle and wheels.  Protect your investment and make it easier on yourself at the same time with portable trade show shipping cases.
